Dr. Maria Juanpere
Dr. Maria E. Juanpere is a Board-Certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, bringing over 30 years of dedicated experience in pediatric care. Her distinguished career reflects her commitment to improving the lives of children and families through comprehensive medical care, early diagnosis, and community education.
Dr. Juanpere specializes in the early diagnosis and management of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) using the ADOS-2, a gold-standard assessment tool. She is passionate about identifying children with autism at the earliest stages, empowering families with the knowledge and resources they need to maximize their child’s potential. Her approach is both compassionate and thorough, ensuring that families receive tailored guidance and access to interventions that support their child’s development.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Juanpere has made significant contributions to public health, particularly in child safety and advocacy. She served on the Northern Regional Child Fatality Review Board, where she worked to improve child safety measures and reduce preventable fatalities. Her efforts in public education on safe sleep practices and child abuse prevention have been widely recognized, showcasing her dedication to holistic child welfare.
Dr. Juanpere earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Boston City Hospital. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in medical technology and a master’s degree in medical laboratory management from Catholic University. Before pursuing her medical degree, she worked as a medical technologist at leading institutions, including Harvard University Health Services, Children’s National Medical Center, and Arlington Hospital Center.
Dr. Juanpere’s expertise extends to newborn care, child development, and adolescent health. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she provides accessible, inclusive care to families from diverse backgrounds. Outside the clinic, she nurtures her creative side with photography, holding a certificate in digital photography from the New York Institute of Photography.
Dr. Juanpere is now accepting patients for autism assessments and diagnosis using the ADOS-2 and other diagostic modalities.

Dr. Joshua Richter
Dr. Joshua Richter was born in Vernon Hills, Illinois, and joined the Army in 2001 at the age of 19 as an enlisted infantryman. He was assigned to the 1st Ranger Battalion in Savannah, Georgia, and completed three combat tours. He later moved to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where he was assigned to a Special Missions Unit and completed an additional eight combat tours.
While on active duty, Dr. Richter earned his bachelor’s degree from Norwich University and was selected as an inaugural member of the Enlisted to Medical Degree Preparatory Program. He subsequently completed medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and trained as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Dr. Richter has advanced training and certifications in repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) and Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy (MeRT), cutting-edge technologies used to treat conditions such as depression, PTSD, and traumatic brain injury. He has also completed advanced training through The Institute for Functional Medicine, equipping him to address root causes of illness and optimize overall health through a personalized, systems-based approach.
Dr. Richter enjoys caring for a broad range of patients and has had the privilege of aiding in the treatment of brain-injured patients at the National Intrepid Center of Excellence. His clinical interests include neuromusculoskeletal medicine, functional medicine, cognitive optimization, and holistic approaches to patient care.
Dr. Richter lives in Leesburg, Virginia, with his wife and four children.

Bryan White
Bryan is the Operations Director at Brain Treatment Center Ashburn, where he oversees day-to-day operations and ensures the highest quality of care for patients seeking functional health and MeRT therapy.
With a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, Bryan brings a unique background that includes a decade of service as a U.S. Army officer and extensive experience in leadership and operations management. As a certified neurotechnician in Wave Neuro MeRT therapy, he is dedicated to advancing brain health solutions for individuals facing neurological challenges.
Beyond his work at the clinic, Bryan is an instructor and an advocate for veterans’ wellness through his involvement with the 11/11 Veteran Project, helping connect former service members, and their families, with innovative treatment options. His commitment to both operational excellence and patient care ensures that every individual receives the personalized attention they deserve on their path to better health.

Payton Meyer
Payton Meyer holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Christopher Newport University and is a certified Neurotechnician specializing in MeRT therapy. She has received training in QRI cold laser therapy and is currently working toward certification as an Integrative Functional Nutritionist, which she plans to integrate into the clinic later this year. With a background working with young children, Payton has a special interest and drive to support children on the autism spectrum. Her passion for neuromodulation and functional health fuels her commitment to providing personalized care that optimizes brain and nervous system health for all ages.

Autumn O'Hara
Dr. O’Hara is an experienced occupational therapist with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from The George Washington University. Specializing in hippotherapy, Dr. O’Hara integrates Dynamic Body Balancing, Myofascial Release and Bodywork techniques to provide holistic care, helping clients achieve physical and emotional well-being.
As a Board Certified Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist (HPCS) and Dr. O’Hara uses equine-assisted therapy to address motor, sensory, and emotional challenges. Dr. O’Hara is also involved in developing the SPIN program at the Brain Treatment Center, collaborating with professionals to create tailored therapies for neurological conditions.
Currently practicing at Ride-On Ranch Equine Assisted Therapies, Dr. O’Hara has been serving clients through hippotherapy since 2012. With a client-centered, evidence-based approach,she empowers individuals to reach their full potential.
In addition to clinical work, Dr. O’Hara has taught and mentored Master's level students at Shenandoah University, contributing to the education of future occupational therapists. Her work reflects a deep commitment to advancing the field and honoring God in all they do.
Outside of therapy, Dr. O’Hara enjoys homeschooling her three children, playing racquetball, and doing outdoor activities with her husband and family. Her holistic approach integrates mind, body, and spirit—always focused on serving others for God's glory.

Theresa (Tess) Long is a dedicated SPIN Neuro Coach at Brain Treatment Center Ashburn and Loudoun Integrative Health Partners. A graduate of Ave Maria University, Tess holds a degree in Psychology and Communications, combining her understanding of human behavior with strong interpersonal skills to guide individuals toward their best selves.
With a diverse background working with children of all ages, Tess has experience in teaching, coaching, personal training, and nannying. Her passion lies in helping individuals—especially children—build confidence, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential. As a SPIN Neuro Coach, she specializes in Somatic Program for Integrative NeuroBalancing (SPIN), a proprietary program designed to optimize brain function through targeted interventions.
For Tess, joining Brain Treatment Center Ashburn is the fulfillment of a lifelong passion. She is committed to helping people from all walks of life feel whole, healthy, and empowered so they can pursue their dreams. Nicole Watson
Nicole is a dedicated provider with dual credentials as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). With a passion for innovative mental health care, Nicole founded Revival Wellness and Ketamine to provide compassionate, evidence-based treatments for individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and chronic pain.
Blending her extensive anesthesia and psychiatric care expertise, Nicole specializes in administering safe and effective ketamine infusion therapy. Her patient-centered approach emphasizes holistic wellness, empowering individuals to reclaim their lives and rediscover joy.
Nicole is committed to creating a supportive, healing environment where each patient receives personalized care and guidance on their journey to mental wellness. In her free time, Nicole enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, and quality time with her husband, three little boys, dogs, and friends.

Marsha Lessard, MS
Marsha Lessard is a certified Naturopath, practitioner of The Listening Program, and certified yoga teacher, with advanced training from the Institute for Functional Medicine and full certification in HeartMath training. She is one of the creators of SPIN (Somatic Program for Integrative NeuroBalancing), a proprietary program designed to support dynamic nervous system regulation and holistic wellness.
A graduate of Johns Hopkins University with both undergraduate and graduate degrees, Marsha has completed an advanced-level Naturopathic program and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) on a full scholarship, with an expected graduation in spring 2026. Her focus is on trauma and PTSD care for special operations veterans, first responders, and their families. She has completed internships in veterans’ mental health services and homelessness services, deepening her expertise in addressing the complex challenges faced by these populations.
Marsha’s career has spanned law enforcement, nonprofit work, and holistic health, highlighting her diverse skill set and deep commitment to serving others. Her approach integrates biological, psychological, physiological, and social perspectives, driven by her belief in holistic healing and the conviction that we are created according to God’s divine design.
Marsha is a wife and mother of four, currently residing in the Washington, D.C., area.

Christopher Lessard
Chris Lessard is a retired Army Green Beret, instructor, and project manager. He is the owner of the Brain Treatment Center Ashburn, where they specialize in functional health and MeRT, a non-invasive treatment for depression, PTSD, and TBI.
Chris plays a key role in overseeing various aspects of the clinic and ensuring that cutting-edge therapies are accessible to veterans and the broader community.
Chris is a student at Liberty University, pursuing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Drawing from his personal experiences with TBI and PTSD, he plans to specialize in trauma therapy for special operations veterans, first responders, and their families. His goal is to provide tailored, compassionate care to those affected by the unique challenges of trauma.
He is a husband and father of four, living in the Northern Virginia area.
